Having the right start to your day really has a huge impact on whether you’ll feel confident throughout and creating some morning rituals for confidence can really help that!
Have you ever noticed that when you have a bad morning, the day just seems to go downhill.
Well, in today’s post, I want to share with you five easy morning rituals for confidence that will make that a thing of the past.
By using these simple rituals, you’ll be able to prime yourself for a day filled with confidence and success.
Some of the most famous people in the world keep a daily morning routine – Oprah Winfrey, Tony Robbins, Arianna Huffington, etc. – so why not give your own morning ritual a try?
The 5 Confidence Rituals
Starting the day by expressing love towards yourself is a great way to go into your day with positivity.
The more self-love we have, the less we have to worry about the approval of others.
This leaves more room for self-acceptance and, ultimately, self-confidence.
So, how do you do it?
It’s actually pretty simple.
Start your day by writing down just ten things that you love about yourself.
They can be anything at all, but you must really connect with the love that you feel for yourself.
Sometimes it can help if you place your hand over your heart as you write these things down.
Once you’ve written your ten “loves” down, pick one and really dwell on it for a few minutes.
Let yourself bask in that feeling of love for yourself and let it fill your entire body.
The more often you do this, the easier this feeling will come. Plus, you’ll quickly learn how to re-enter this state of self-love whenever you want.
So, try it tomorrow morning and start your day with self-love.
2# Get A Healthy Headstart
There are so many ways that we can start our day with our health in mind.
So often, we wake up and fall straight into old, unhealthy habits and that can be pretty hazardous for our self-confidence.
Starting the day healthy makes us feel good about ourselves. It also makes our body feel great as well.
And when the body feels great, the mind quickly follows.
Now, the good news is, you don’t have to drastically overhaul your lifestyle.
My recommendation is to simply make sure that the first thing you put into your body on a morning is going to make you feel great.
It could be eating some fruit, making a smoothie or anything like that. But, my personal favourite is simply drinking a glass of water.
Drinking water first thing in the morning will really get you energised and ready for the day. Plus, by making a healthy choice, you are reminding yourself that you love yourself.
And, as we’ve already covered, starting your day with self-love will set you up for a day filled with confidence and joy.
Following a simple self-care routine is another great way to start your day with confidence.
As you already know, when you feel good about yourself, it’s much easier to find your inner confidence.
So, start the day by making sure that you are taking care of your mind and body.
Some simple ways to do that are:
- Spending a few minutes writing down things you’re grateful for
- Following a good personal hygiene routine – take a warm shower, brush your teeth, etc.
- Meditating for a few minutes to let your mind rest
- Writing in your journal
- And much more...
The ways in which you can focus on your own self-care are virtually endless.
So, make sure that you start your day by taking care of yourself.
That way, you’ll find it much easier to care about yourself throughout the day.
4# Just A Smile
When I was really struggling with my self-confidence, one of the first things that I would do when I woke up was to make sure that I smiled at myself.
Yes, I know that sounds a little weird, but hear me out.
What better way is there to start your day with positive regard than to spend a few minutes just smiling at yourself?

All you have to do is smile at yourself in the mirror for a couple minutes in the morning.
It doesn’t have to be a huge, cheesy grin. Just a simple smile of acceptance will be enough.
This is another great way of reminding yourself that you love yourself.
Give it a try.
It might be a little weird at first, but you will quickly begin to love the results and the feeling of positive regard that it generates.
5# Getting Energised
This is another one of my favourite ways to start my morning with confidence.
Find a way to infuse your body with positive energy and you’ll come out of it feeling like you can just dance through the day.
Now, when I say energy, I don’t mean the “chakra” or “spiritual” kind, though that may be the case for others.
Instead, I mean actually feeling like you’re full of energy.
Get your body engaged with positive feelings.
There are endless ways in which you can do this:
- Spend a few minutes dancing to music
- Sing while you’re taking a shower
- Watch a short comedy segment and let yourself really laugh
- Do as many pushups as you can
When you get energised in the morning, you can easily carry that energy with you throughout the day.
And, as with ritual #1, the more you practice this, the easier it is to access that energised state throughout the day.
So, those are my five favourite morning rituals for confidence and starting your day in the best way possible.
