How To Invest In Yourself [With No Money]

Modern self-help can be ridiculously expensive!

  • “Make Money Online” Courses typical cost over $2000
  • Coaching Packages can range between $3000 and $30,000 per year - Tony Robbins charges over $100k! 😲
  • Seminars and Events can often run up to $5000+ for a basic floor ticket
  • Even Psychotherapy and Counselling can cost you $1000s every year

What this means is that self-help isn’t nearly as accessible as it should be.

But I believe that everyone deserves to experience life as they want it.

And self-improvement is one of the best investments you could ever make.

So, I’m going to share with you exactly how to invest in yourself with no money at all!

Why Paying For Self-Help Is So Frustrating

At the start of my self-improvement journey, I was beyond excited!

There was an entire world of personal development I was discovering that I had never even heard about before!

The problem was that at the end of every "free" seminar, the real life-changing information was stuck behind a pay-wall.

I would waste hours waiting for the "simple trick that would change my life", only to be told I had to pay $297 to get it!

Beyond frustrating! 😤

And, at the time, I was just another broke student.

I didn't know how to get to the next level without investing a bunch of money that I didn't have.

I ended up spending £1000s from my overdraft and student maintenance loan because I felt like it was the only way I could move forward.

And do you know what was the worst part of all of that?

Most of what I learned was totally useless!

And that’s why it’s so important for me to share how to invest in yourself with no money.

Because almost everything you need to know about self-improvement can be found totally for FREE!

So, let’s jump into the first of 3 FREE methods of self-improvement.

Learning How To Accept Yourself

Invest In Yourself With Self-Acceptance

Self-acceptance is one of the simplest ways you can invest in yourself to improve your life.

It’s not always easy and it takes a lot of work, but it is a very simple process.

Through learning self-acceptance and self-love, you start to gain a better appreciation for who you are and what you want from life.

And this gives you the foundation to actually achieve what you want in life.

Self-love and self-acceptance are the most necessary components for confidence and success in life.

You won’t get too far without them.

And it’s totally FREE for you to learn how.

How To Start To Accept and Love Yourself

Invest In Yourself With Self-Love

The best place to start with self-acceptance is to find out exactly where you are right now.

Not your location - more like where you are in life today.

  • How do you feel right now?
  • What do you want from life?
  • What are you doing with your life?

The trick is to get as honest with yourself as possible.

Listen to your thoughts, feelings and emotions without any judgement. and without needing to change them in anyway.

Get it all out in front of you.

Quick Tip:

For me, I like to write it all down in a journal, completely free-form with no editing.

I don’t even really think too hard about the thoughts that come into my mind.

The most important thing is to just get all of your thoughts, feelings and emotions out in front of you.

It’s only once it’s there that you can start the long process of truly getting to know yourself.

Remember, try to go into this with no judgement or criticism.

The point is to get to know and accept yourself for who you truly are.

Taking the time to get to truly know and accept yourself will be worth more than any coaching package, self-help seminar or self-improvement book, believe me.

Set Yourself Big, Scary Goals

We all have BHAGs (Big Hairy Audacious Goals).

Maybe it’s owning a house in a certain area.

Or starting a business.

Or maybe even travelling the world.

Setting big goals is an amazing tool for self-improvement but only when you take action.

Now, in self-help there’s this idea of taking “massive action”.

Logic says that if you have a “massive goal” then you should take “massive action”, right? 🤷‍♂️

Well, not really.

In fact, massive action is a pretty good way to lose your motivation for your goal.

So, what should you do instead?

Challenge yourself to take small, consistent steps every single day.

Your big, scary goal might seem a million miles away.

But when you take a few small steps towards it on a daily basis, you build momentum.

The more momentum you build, the faster you will achieve your goal.

And along the way you’ll learn how best to motivate yourself and how best to achieve your goals in life too.

And it’s all totally FREE!
